i can think of two specific occasions where, upon meeting her (in real life, not on the internets), a girl is genuinely disinterested in me to the point of almost being repulsed until she finds out what i do/how good i am at doing the things that i do.
.
Is the appeal of an “artist” so unattached to personality and physique?
.
to them, i was no one without my art.
.
anyway the point is that i don’t fully understand what this means, but i don’t think i like it.

Could be worse, chief. At least she was able to tell you were a GOOD artist. For those of us who are “writers,” it would take too much time to read and ascertain whether or not we’re competent/good, so people presume we’re bad… oh well ;)

Well A.J. I have only met you in the interwebzzz but I think that you’re attractive and rather enjoy your wit. These statements would still be true even if you weren’t artistic <3
