i can think of two specific occasions where, upon meeting her (in real life, not on the internets), a girl is genuinely disinterested in me to the point of almost being repulsed until she finds out what i do/how good i am at doing the things that i do. . Is the appeal of an “artist” so unattached to personality and physique? . to them, i was no one without my art. . anyway...
